This is a complete 300hr Teacher Training and limited to 24 students and is designed to level-up your skills in a meaningful way. The program is open to all 200hr Trained Teachers from any background of study who wants to grow as a teacher and join the yoga & movement revolution (and likes to geek out a little).
The content is grounded in helping you become excellent, effective, confident and open-minded teachers for both groups and individuals by developing your ability to see, experience, articulate and adapt movement and poses for your students and in your own practice. It will also include strategies for teaching with cultural awareness, social justice and trauma & nervous system regulation.

In this training expect to:
– Learn cutting edge biomechanic fundamentals that open your mind to deeper and more critical thinking about yoga, bodies and movement

ARE CLASSES INCLUDED IN MY TUITION?
Yes, a series of studio yoga classes is included in all training programs.
DO I NEED TO BE “GOOD” AT YOGA TO TAKE THIS PROGRAM?
The primary requirement is that you love yoga. We suggest having at least a one year solid yoga practice. If you have questions about your experience, we are happy to discuss it with you.
I HAVE NEVER BEEN TO YOGAMAYA, DO I NEED TO TAKE CLASSES BEFORE APPLYING?
We recommend coming to the studio and taking class with the Lead Instructors, Bryn, Danielle, Bridgette and Amanda. If you are applying from out of town, you will have a phone call with Bryn, in addition to your application, before being accepted.
WHAT IF I NEED TO MISS A DAY OF TRAINING?
Attendance is required for all scheduled dates and times in order to participate in the training and receive a certification. However, it is possible for an exception to be made with prior written approval or in the event of an emergency. We handle all requests on an individual basis. Please note that there are no refunds for missed training dates and that missed hours must be made up within the specified timeframe with approved teachers and at your own expense and that absences may result in an automatic voluntary withdrawal from training without refund. Please refer to the Student Agreement for more information.
ARE THERE ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS TO THE TIMES LISTED ON THE CALENDAR?
Yes, you will have written homework, required readings, mentor and buddy meetings and assigned studio classes – all to help crystallize and consolidate the material covered during weekend sessions.
WHAT IS A MENTOR AND A BUDDY?
Your mentor is a Yogamaya teacher who will personally help you along the way, review your homework and meet at scheduled intervals with your smaller assigned group of trainees. Your buddy is another trainee we match you with. You will have meetings to practice teaching, work on homework, talk about yoga, and fulfill other teaching assignments.
WILL I BE ABLE TO TEACH A YOGA CLASS WHEN I GRADUATE?
Yes. The degree to which you are proficient will correlate to how much time and energy you dedicate to the training. You will practice teach a lot during the training, preparing you well for teaching real people in the real world.
IS THERE A PAYMENT PLAN?
Yes, there are payment plan options for all of our trainings.
CAN I SUBMIT MY APPLICATION WITHOUT A PAYMENT?
No. Some form of payment, deposit or full tuition, must accompany your application. Your application is your commitment to the training. We will not review an application that is incomplete. A complete application includes a (1) completed application, (2) payment. If we deny your application, you will receive 100% of your money back.

I DID MY 200HR SOMEWHERE ELSE, CAN I STILL DO THIS TRAINING?
Yes, this training is not about tell you one way to teach, it is about giving you the tools to teach how you already teach from a more informed place. We would love to welcome you into Yogamaya.
CAN I TEACH AT YOGAMAYA IF I COMPLETE YOUR 300HR
We hope so. We always love to add more amazing teachers who are dedicated and teach in our style of open-minded, informed and dynamic vinyasa yoga.
DO I NEED TO BE A TEACHER TO TAKE THIS PROGRAM?
Our 300hr is designed for yoga teachers who have completed from a 200hr Training.
HOW DO I COMPLETE MY 300HR WITH YOU?
Simple, you register for this program and attend all of the 8 weekend trainings and the week-long immersion in Mexico.
